Having hired and trained a very large number of staff, I have come to the conclusion that most people think getting ahead is about working hard, and impressing your boss.

I'm unusual. I believe getting ahead is about doing simple things that count, understanding other people's weaknesses, thinking before opening your mouth, and having no loyalty to your boss at all. Changing jobs is both motivating, and empowering. A great bargaining tool. But you need to know what you're doing

I've decided it's about time I put all of my knowledge into simple, easy-read books. Gosh I've read some boring career books in my time. What is it about authors and publishers that think volume equates to quality. Garbage! Give me the facts. Quickly, so I can get the results. You know - just like manufacturers are finally doing: The "QUICK SET-UP GUIDE". Who honestly reads the rest of the information anyway (unless you're stuck).

I've put together the first two books to help you. The first is called "Career Shortcuts". Career Shortcuts has lots of ideas to help you. How to Get a Job - Find a better job. How to stand out for promotion. How to handle other staff. How to deal with disasters and heaps more. This book will make a big different to your career. Almost ANYONE will benefit from reading the advice in this book!

The second is called "Get Your Way". Both of these will have a significant impact on your career.
